Aire Park Wins ‘Disrupter of the Year’ at The Yorkshires Awards 2025

We’re delighted that Aire Park, Leeds has been recognised as the ‘Disrupter of the Year’ at The Yorkshires. Commercial Real Estate Awards 2025, a title that speaks to the project’s ambition to challenge expectations and redefine city-centre development in Leeds.
As designers of the atrium and lobby at 1 & 3 South Brook Street, we’ve had the privilege of helping bring Vastint UK’s transformative vision to life. These two landmark office buildings mark the first phase of commercial development at Aire Park and offer 190,000 sq ft of next-generation workspace designed around wellbeing, adaptability, and community.
Our interior concept draws from Leeds’ industrial past and creative spirit, with natural materials like timber, copper, and ceramic, and a standout suspended petal sculpture inspired by the magnolia trees planted throughout the site’s eight-acre parkland. The result is a dynamic, social hub that feels rooted in place and inspired by Leeds' natural environment.
We designed the space to support the evolving needs of today’s workforce - from focused work zones and informal lounges to flexible areas for talks, workshops, and community gatherings. Comfort, flexibility, and sensory experience were central to every decision, and the building’s sustainability credentials (BREEAM Excellent, EPC A, WELL Platinum, WiredScore Platinum) reflect a commitment to future-facing design in every sense.
This award celebrates more than architecture. It recognises a new kind of workplace: one that connects people, culture, and purpose - and we’re proud to have played a part in its creation.
