turnerbates collaborated with The Lounge Co. on the design of two London showrooms, including their first location in Chiswick and a later flagship store at Islington Square in North London. Together, these projects helped establish a distinctive retail identity for the brand within the capital.
The flagship showroom occupies a 5,200 sq ft space across two floors of a converted former post and sorting office. The design responds to the building’s industrial heritage, retaining and celebrating original architectural features while introducing a warm, contemporary retail environment. Clear and consistent branded touchpoints guide customers through the space, creating a cohesive experience that highlights the breadth and quality of The Lounge Co.’s furniture collections.
Across both locations, the approach balances character and clarity, ensuring each showroom feels welcoming, considered and easy to navigate, while reinforcing a strong and recognisable brand presence.
