As part of our ongoing collaboration with Vastint Poland, we were invited to develop a new interior concept for the lobby and bar at Sound Garden Hotel, within the wider Business Garden Warsaw development. The brief was to create a clear and welcoming entrance for the hotel and conference facilities, while bringing the lobby, bar and restaurant together under one cohesive vision.

 

Analysis of the existing layout identified that the entrance and large central coffee bar were restricting key views and circulation, while the bar lacked the intimacy needed to work effectively into the evening. Our solution was a simple but strategic move: relocating the coffee bar closer to the entrance, opening up clear sightlines and creating a more intimate bar space that could adapt seamlessly from day to night.

 

The concept creates a warm, welcoming environment designed for guests to relax, connect and linger. Carefully defined zones allow the space to transition between informal meetings, social gatherings and quieter moments, while bold ceiling rafts inspired by inverted sound waves add energy and reference the hotel’s identity. Materiality, lighting and spatial planning work together to balance hospitality and functionality, reflecting the dynamic character of the wider mixed-use campus.

 

Alongside the hotel lobby and bar, we designed the welcome areas for the other six buildings across the 9-hectare development, creating a cohesive arrival experience throughout the wider Business Garden Warsaw community.
