We worked with Cullinan Studio on the masterplanning of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Hyde Hall, helping to shape key visitor areas, amenities and opportunities across the site. Our scope included the design of the Hilltop Café and Learning Centre, a new entrance and the Clover Café, alongside exploring retail opportunities and new visitor facilities.
The work formed part of the wider Hilltop development, which was recognised with a 2020 Civic Trust Award. The reimagined Hilltop brings together a series of carefully considered buildings, including a dedicated education space, field-to-fork restaurant and activity barn, creating a year-round destination that connects learning, hospitality and horticulture within the landscape.
We worked closely with award-winning landscape designer Adam Frost, who led the landscaping strategy, to create a cohesive experience between the buildings, gardens and wider visitor spaces, supporting the RHS’ ambition to encourage greater engagement with horticulture.
