turnerbates provided a complete holistic design service for the new independent Japanese brand including concept, detailed interior design, planning, brand and menu creation and on site project management.
The new space combines fresh Japanese cuisine with the style of a relaxed Japanese ‘Izakaya’ pub or tapas bar.

”I found turnerbates whilst attending a catering exhibition in London and met Howard and John in 2016. Since then they have surveyed many sites for us to assess the viability for our vision.
In 2018 we finally secured a site in the heart of Soho and I approached turnerbates to manage the project from inception to completion. The team worked very professionally at all times whilst also providing a personal working relationship. The team presented us with many ideas according to our vision and transformed an old fast food restaurant into a new and exciting restaurant and bar. I look forward to working with the turnerbates team again on our next project!
