Stoke Newington Town Hall, London N16

Locked up, unused for over ten years and close to being placed as a ‘building at risk’ by English Heritage, the Grade II listed group of municipal buildings were finally brought back to life in 2010. The Council Chamber was restored and adapted after being part destroyed and used as a store. A new DDA compliant entrance foyer was built and the Assembly Hall refurbished, enabling a much loved and popular venue to be used once again for weddings, performance and entertainment all year round.
