Making Progress: Sugar House Island
Consisting of 58,000 m² office space, 1,200 homes, three acres of open space including a riverside park, as well as many independent commercial units, Sugar House Island is a thriving community of residents and office workers. The TB team took a trip to the Stratford site to take a look at the progress taking place. turnerbates has been working with Vastint UK to create three lobbies for the new district’s offices. Boasting a ‘winter garden’ space, food and drink facilities, and areas for relaxation, our new lobbies will be a welcoming space for the office tenants.
Sugar House Island's Lobby Spaces
turnerbates has designed three lobby spaces for Vastint’s Sugar House Island development along Chimney Walk. We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to create and deliver the entrance lobbies within the 20,000 square metres of lettable space. The design makes reference to the site’s British industrial heritage, reflecting the printing and related industries that once flourished in the area.
We have been lucky enough to work with Vastint on various projects across the UK and Europe. From Business Gardens to The Lounge and The Forum projects, we continue to grow our portfolio of work with the international real estate organisation.
