With trials and tribulations constantly reported in the press about the high street – here is a piece of good news that involves two brands close to our (turnerbates’) hearts!

Jack Wills and BEAR Coffee Company are collaborating to provide a ‘coffee-shopping’ experience (Forbes, June 2017)[1] in Soho.

When Neil Beaman (Global Property Director at Jack Wills) was visiting Jack Wills’ store in Derby, in need of a good coffee, he popped into BEAR on Irongate. Suitably impressed with the coffee, service and look & feel, he discovered that turnerbates had designed their interiors and been shortlisted for a Restaurant & Bar Design Award.

Having known Howard Bates for over twenty years (yes, hard to believe!) he called him to find out more about BEAR and our involvement.

Thus the catalyst for the pairing of Jack Wills and BEAR was struck, with Howard recognising the synergies between the two brands and putting Neil in touch with Craig Bunting and Chris Price of BEAR.
