Lindenholma apartment featured in airBaltic magazine

The start of the new year has been a busy one for turnerbates. We’re always grateful when the hard work of our team is recognised, and it was especially rewarding to see that one of our latest projects with Vastint, our new show apartment for the Lindenholma Residential Quarter in Riga, was featured in airBaltic’s in-flight magazine.

Lindenholma Residential’s cosy three-bedroom apartment is decorated with furniture and furnishings that are exclusively from IKEA. This is the first time Vastint Latvia has commissioned turnerbates to create an interior inspired by a family’s travels to the UK. The apartment combines IKEA’s hygge philosophy with quintessential British cosiness.

"I think there’s hardly a household where you won’t find at least one IKEA item, and for good reason: their pieces demonstrate a good match of sustainable quality, reasonable value for money, and great design."

Karen and Howard decorated this apartment with family in mind. From the endless amounts of storage to the board games, book and child’s toys that decorate the apartment, every detail was selected with consideration of its usability, durability, and necessity for family life. The apartment maintains a strong connection to nature because of Karen and Howard’s interior design choices. Locally-sourced wicker furniture takes pride of place on the generous balcony area, and house plants and calming tones bring a sense of peace and tranquility to the space.

The full article about this stunning four bedroom apartment can be found on pages 84 to 87 of airBaltic’s January magazine.
