Coach Kitchen and Garden at the Bulls Head Inn, Beaumaris

After visiting our stand at the Restaurant & Bar Design Show (Excel) last September, David Robertson, owner of The Bull’s Head Inn Public house and boutique hotel, appointed turnerbates to create a new brand and design for the refurbishment of the Bull’s existing 90 cover restaurant, ‘The Brasserie’.

The new name “Coach” was proposed in reference to the building’s previous use in the 18th & 19th centuries as a Coaching Inn.

Utilising a rich, warm palette and introducing booth and upholstered seating, turnerbates created a soft, sophisticated environment, which complimented the existing wood and stone features. The bar was reduced to increase covers and functionality within the restaurant and a sharer table was introduced for buffet breakfasts.

turnerbates scope of works also included external landscaping such as the proposal of new paving, jumbrellas, planting and both fixed and loose furniture to create a courtyard space customers could enjoy.
